Special Silver Jewellery Week
We are very excited to announce our special Silver Clay Week with Grainne Reynolds @TimesToTreasure!
Karen and Kathryn invite you to join us on a fully tutored silver crafting holiday from our beautiful Cortijo.
The week’s itinerary is below and although it is busy and varied, there is still plenty of time for relaxing, walking in the hills or finding a quiet spot in the garden to read or just enjoy the tranquility of your surroundings.
Grainne has been teaching silver clay and honing her skills for 15 years and is highly regarded in the industry both in UK as well as Europe and now the United States. She is based in Dorset where she lives with her husband and children.
Saturday
Pick up from Almería Airport for flights arriving during the morning. Transfer to Cortijo for welcome drinks before lunch. If your flight lands after midday, we can arrange private transfers for £150.
Rest, relaxation and getting to know your new friends this afternoon owing to the early start most people will have had.
Dinner will be served around 7:30pm.
Sunday
After breakfast you will start your silver clay project. These projects normally consist of
one large piece such as a locket, automata or lidded pot. Once this project is underway, side projects will be arranged.
Monday
Continued work on your projects.
Tuesday
After breakfast a group craft session will happen as a break from silver clay. After this we will head to Bedar for a 3 course lunch all together.
Supper at the cortijo.
Wednesday
Continued work on your projects.
Thursday
Continued work on your projects.
Friday
After breakfast we will take a day trip out to Mojacar to explore the Moorish pueblo. There will be time for shopping, sightseeing and coffee.
We’ll head down to the Playa for lunch. Free time to relax on the beach.
After dinner we will enjoy our last evening together.
Saturday
Early breakfast followed by our transfer to Almería Airport.
